My Bio

Hello! I am Michi from Michi-chan Artworks

a.k.a. Fayelaen here on Deviant Art I am an artist out of Ohio, USA. Just doing my best and trying to learn new skills one day at a time, one drawing at a time. I like to write, doodle, draw, and imagine my way through life. Creating stories and artwork from my daydreams is my passion and my therapy. I am currently working on art for a book project I've been dreaming up since around 2003-2004 (back when I was in Jr. High). I'm hoping I can give everyone a window into the way I see the world and share my favorite pastime with everyone! Also hoping everyone falls in love with my characters as much I have!

I used to do commission work, but am taking a long break to work on my book(s). March 2018: One Year Progress

It has been over a year since my last journal entry, and so much has changed! The biggest change is the new drawing pen display that I have which makes it SO much easier to edit pictures and create portraits! It is the Gaomon PD1560 and it works amazingly well! I have had no troubles so far with it and the flow is so smooth! If you are considering getting a pen display and are somewhat limited in funds, totally go for this one. You can find it on the official page at Gaomon.net! Another new thing is my book is coming to its completion! There is still a few chapters to write and a lot of editing that needs to be done. Getting Back in the Groove

I've been quite busy lately working on a light novel that will include some of my art as well as an original story.
